Maine Literary Award winner to speak at October 16th meeting

Dr. Andrew Barton, conservation biologist, and Maine Literary Award winner, will be the guest speaker at the Rangeley Region Guides and Sportsmen’s Association on Thursday October 16. 

He is the lead author of the recent book, The Changing Nature of Maine Woods, also the title of his presentation. His research focuses on the response of forests to climate change and natural disturbances. Our monthly meetings are open to the public. The pot luck dinner starts at 5:30pm, followed by a short business meeting before Dr. Barton’s presentation. The Clubhouse is located on Old Skiway Road in Oquossoc.
